Our Alex

Baseball season has begun and Andy could not be happier. Alex discovered all of Brady's stuffed sausages a couple of weeks ago. This was during nap time, so he was able to play without fear of injury from his big brother!
Hilarious. Remember the McDonald's viking hat that Brady got? Well, it fit Alex too. What can I say...the kiddo has a big noggin.

Easter Eggs

Once again, I have gotten a bit behind in my blogging. During the end of spring break week, Brady and I dyed Easter eggs. I got really brave and we even did them raw since none of us are crazy about hard boiled ones. All in all it went pretty well.
Brady loved watching all the eggs as they went into the colors.
Though Alex could not really participate this year, he was present!

Brady tried to blow on the eggs to hurry along the drying process.
Patience when your two is tough...now we are pouting over our drying eggs.
Here is my Brady. Proudly showing off our work! We only broke two for those of you wondering. :)

Owen Park

We have been spoiled with beautiful weather this week while I was at home. On Thursday the boys and I headed to Owen Park for a little play time. The swings were a big hit for both boys.
Alex watchin' his big brother play.
We also took a walk. Brady decided this was a good place for a little rest.
Alex's giggles were down right contagious while he was swinging. These three were all so cute I couldn't decide which one to post!

Craft Day

Over spring break week Brady and I have done a craft each day during Alex's naptime. This particular day Brady was in an especially crafty mood. We made four animal puppets...
and a bunny mask. Happy Easter!

Fun at home

We had some fun at home yesterday. During naptime for Alex Brady and I were busy. We made oatmeal chocolate chip cookies....here is my helper eating our work.
Then our project for the day was a tissue paper collage stegasaurus (sp). Brady was thrilled!

A Day with Daddy

Tuesday was Daddy's day. Brady and Andy headed to Action City or Toy City as Brady called it. :) They had a great time. It was a little overwhelming for him with all the people, but they had lots of fun.
Skiball was a big hit.
Brady beat Andy in air hockey. Thanks, daddy!
Our basketball star
Mini-bowling was a favorite
He was thrilled that he could pick up the ball "all by my self!"
This is the ticket muncher. Brady thought it was hilarious.

Polish off it all with a ride in a sweet car. It was a great Brady and Daddy day.

A Date with Mommy

Since Andy and I were both home on Monday and Tuesday this week, we decided that Brady should get to have some special time with each of us one day while Alex had naptime. On Monday, Brady and I headed out to the EC Children's Museum. We had great fun! Here are the highlights.
Brady loved the construction zone and playing with the conveyor belt.
He enjoyed planting veggies in the garden.
The he "fixed us lunch."
Tasty!
Water works is always a big hit! We spent about 45 minutes playing the water. :)
In the craft room Brady made a Potato Head and a sheep.
Painting his little lamb was a big hit too!
Cutie!
We had lunch again before we left in the diner too. That sandwich was about as big as his head!

A Viking Hat...in this house?!?!

I couldn't believe it when Andy emailed me the other day and said that Brady's Happy Meal box turned into a Viking hat. I was thinking MN Vikings and couldn't believe that Andy would allow him to wear it. Then I saw the pictures. Hilarious!

Baseball Season is here

Here are my boys decked in their Brewer hats for the summer. All my boys are glad that baseball season is here.
Still working on crawling...no success yet.

Just sitting

Andy went to empty the garbage the other night in the kitchen and this one climbed in giggling. When I asked him what he was doing he said "Just sitting!"
