Finding new things...

Brady discovered our closet tonight as he was racing his truck around the bedroom. He was eating my clothes, trying to pull himself up on hangers, and throwing socks up into the air. So much fun!
This is Brady coming to get me. Isn't he scary?!

New flavors

Brady had his first taste of REAL strawberries tonight. He has had them in baby food, but tonight I cut up one and put it in this lovely contraption. You can put fruits and veggies in these for baby to chew on and then they can't get big pieces into their mouths. Clever invention...Brady was not a fan of this strong flavor. I love the expression on his face!

Men's Golf Outing

Andy, Matt (brother), Bob (Dad), and Drew (cousin) all headed up to Turtleback in Rice Lake this last weekend for the annual Men's Golf Outing with our church. They had a great time of fellowship and worship together, though the weather did not really cooperate for their golfing expeditions. Pretty serious picture for this bunch!

Like Mommy, Like Son

So this afternoon I went in to check on Brady during his nap and I bust out laughing. My little guy feel asleep with is head between his legs! Hard to see his feet under the blanket, but I checked and they were up by his head. The scary part is, I have a very similar picture from when I was about his age. Check it out!

Though the view is not quite as good on Brady's, I couldn't resist the photo opportunity!

Mesmerized

Brady was fascinated today when he discovered the water running and the spinning that was going on in the washing machine. He sat there for a good two minutes just watching it go around - and trying to get inside!
When he realized that I was sitting there next to him, finally, he was all smiles. I just love this picture!

First Baseball Lesson

I busted out one of Brady's early baby gifts from some friends of ours that has been hanging out in his closet for a while. Andy has been anxious to get it out and now Brady is finally big enough. It is a baseball toy that lets you practice hitting, sings baseball songs, and tells you what kind of hit you made. Brady loved it! It was one of the highlights of his day. As you can see, Daddy is in the background giving instructions. :-) Too cute.

It is so much easier to hit that ball with my hand than with my bat, Daddy!
Brady was a big fan of the bat. He carried it around with him all day.

An old friend rediscovered...

When Brady was only a few months old, he took a great picture with his giant State Farm bear. After that, it was like this huge animal did not exist in Brady's room. He would crawl and play on the floor and never pay any attention to it. Just the other day however, he found him again. Boy did he have fun! Our bear became a jungle gym - Brady was playing and giggling away.
So fun. You'll have to update your desktop at work, Grandpa Johnson!

They fit!

The camo shoes on this happy boy were a gift from his Great Grandma Silliman when he was just a couple months old and they finally fit! They are just too cute and go great with his camo GAP shirt. Thanks, Great Grandma!
