A Viking Hat...in this house?!?!

I couldn't believe it when Andy emailed me the other day and said that Brady's Happy Meal box turned into a Viking hat. I was thinking MN Vikings and couldn't believe that Andy would allow him to wear it. Then I saw the pictures. Hilarious!

Baseball Season is here

Here are my boys decked in their Brewer hats for the summer. All my boys are glad that baseball season is here.
Still working on crawling...no success yet.

Just sitting

Andy went to empty the garbage the other night in the kitchen and this one climbed in giggling. When I asked him what he was doing he said "Just sitting!"

Adventures in the car

About a week and a half ago I headed to the cities to drop Andy's parents off at the airport. While we were there, the boys and I spent the day with Jen and Jerry. In the afternoon The Master Singers had a performance at the Basilica. We decided to try it with the boys. After about 45 minutes they had had enough. We headed to the car for a little play time while they finished up.
Jen and Jerry opened up the backseat so that Brady could play in the trunk and crawl back and forth from it to the car. What fun!
We headed back into the church to say hi to grandma and grandpa when the concert was finished.

Instinct

Brady was playing t-ball...Andy decided to rake a little. The second the pile formed, Brady took off running. Instinct I tell you! Can you see the look on his face?
A little blurry, but a gem.
After the leaf pile Brady was filthy. A quick change and then it was out to dinner with both sets of grandparents. Brady got to sit by BOTH grandpas. He was so excited he wouldn't even look at me. He just kept touching them both saying, "Grandpa! Grandpa!"

Twins

After many months of teething, Alex has more to show for it. He has gotten 3 new teeth in the last week or so. Yikes!
Andy had to have this one. This is daddy and Alex dressed as twins. We have a picture like this of Brady too. Crazy how much they look alike.

Mr. Happy

Alex is all grins. He is starting to pull himself up on things and this was the site the other day after his nap. What a cutie!

We love spring!

We were thrilled this weekend to have BEAUTIFUL weather. Brady was all about playing baseball in the driveway.
Alex joined in the fun with jumping away in the driveway and watching Brady run around.
We had to try out our new hoop! Brady has been so anxious to play. The regular basketball was much too big for him, so daddy went in and busted out the one that I got for his Easter basket. Guess I'll be shopping again!!
The smaller ball worked much better, but that hoop is still pretty high for him.
Brady preferred having daddy's help.
We also took the boys for our first walk of the spring. We loaded up and headed for Meadowview (our neighborhood school) and played on the playground for a while. It was great to get outside and enjoy the sunshine.

Ahh, the shoes....

You have no idea how excited Brady was the learn that they had them in his size. That's right, size 8 toddler bowling shoes.
He was so excited!
Saturday night we had a great evening of bowling. Brady played not only his game, but mine too! A strike and two spares - not bad!
Brady and Daddy showing off their muscles.
Alex couldn't be left out of the fun!
Bowling lessons with daddy. We tried a few without the ramp this time.
Alex and Grandma having a good time.

Brady Candids

I bought some new tubs a while ago. Guess who likes to play in them? He especially likes to "hide" in there and see if we can find him.
We had taco night a couple weeks ago. Andy thought I was nuts to give Brady a hard shell to eat. He usually gets a quesadilla. We were trying to teach Brady to turn his head to the side when he takes a bit so that it doesn't spill...he tipped his head for every bit he ate that meal.
Lovin' his taco
I walked in to find Brady sleeping like this the other morning. It was too cute. I think the squinted eyes are from my flash. :)

Alex Candids

I've been getting a little behind on my blogging again, so here are the updates.
Alex is such a happy guy. We love to see and hear him giggle!
Playing with Daddy
Alex scoots backwards really well. He gets stuck in the tables a lot!
Our first night in big boy jammies.
He can get up on his knees now, but still prefers rolling to get places.
Alex tried a sippy cup for the first time this past weekend. He wasn't too sure what to think at first, but he did get the hang of it.
Brady even came on over to help teach Alex how to do it right. A big brother should help to teach his little bro' right?

Alex's 9 Month Pictures

It's hard to believe that Alex is 9 months old already. We had him in for photos again this week. These were a few of our favorites. Here are a few stats for you too: Alex is 29 1/2 inches tall and weighs 22lbs. 15 oz.! It's no wonder I get tired carrying him for long. :) He has 3 teeth in and 3 more on the way. They are so close to coming through. I am praying that they will this weekend!
What a big boy!

I just loved this one. My little boys reading books just melts my heart.
This one was just too cute.
Standing...all by himself
