Adventures in the Kitchen

Brady was playing in the fridge tonight while I was fixing dinner and what did he find today but the orange juice. As soon as he got it out, he took off around the kitchen giggling because he knew I was after him! When I asked him to put it back, he just plopped down in the fridge on this fun little seat and looked at me as if saying, "What?" Gotta love him!

Brady's new trick is the skill of climbing things. He first did this little trick over the weekend. I was more concerned about him falling the first time so I went straight for him and not the camera. Tonight, I had to capture this though. Again I got that look, "What?" I am not a fan of this new skill!

Gotta Love New Toys

The basketball hoop hit the house this past weekend thanks to Daddy. This has been outside all summer and got very little playing time...you bring it inside and it's the coolest thing ever! Brady and Andy shot hoops the other day while I cleaned up the kitchen. Brady has an amazingly good shot and needs no help from others. Can you say chicken legs!?! Look how skinny those legs are!

Brady also enjoyed hitting the hoop with one of his other favorite toys - mommy's kitchen spoons!

Twin's Game

This weekend we headed to MN for the Twins game. It was a killer for Andy because the Brewers were playing at the same time! We met up with my parents, Jen and Jerry, and several of my aunts and uncles for the game. It was a Statesmen event...the guys plus many alums sang the national anthem for the game. What a great experience. My cousin Seth and Uncle Joe sang with the group as well. Here are the boys in the fam in their Statesmen garb at the tailgate party before the game.

The guys singing the anthem - they sounded great!

Andy and Brady sported their rally caps for the Brewers who were losing while we were there. I thought this picture was too funny!

Here is my big boy watching the game in his very own chair.

Giggles with Daddy

This was the scene at our house on Saturday morning. Andy, crazy hair and all, went to give Brady a smooch and he thought it was the funniest thing ever. These giggles went on for several minutes. It was just precious.

Our little book worm

As many of you already know, Brady is truly a book worm. He LOVES to read and lately can't seem to get enough of it. A couple of nights ago while I was fixing his bottle, Andy was reading some books with Brady in his room. When Brady got down to find a new book, he headed straight for his bear instead of Daddy's lap. Andy hollered for the camera and we got this gem. I love this picture!

Brady Update

Wow...can't tell that I am back in school can you!?! It has been a while since we have posted. We are busy and doing well. Brady is walking and talking and growing up so fast! In the last few weeks he has really taken off. He is becoming so confident with his walking, that he almost tries to run but just can't keep up with his own little feet!
It is so much fun hearing him try out new words. He talks all the time, but now some of his words actually make sense! This weeks' new words - tasty (while he eats of course) and baby. Enjoy a few pics from the last couple of weeks.
Brady has two new faces. 1. The fishy face - new just today!

2. The ooooh face - we see this one all the time.

So fun, this photo was the first that I have taken that Brady gave me a big cheesy grin when he saw my camera and I said "Brady, look at mommy." It was just precious.

Brady the model - Our friend Hannah makes all kinds of amazing things and among them are baby sweaters. She made this one for a friend of theirs and finished it during the Packer game at our house. Brady was her model to see how it looked on a little one. Yes, that's a Charlie Brown sweater - too cute.

Brady is such a big boy that he rarely eats any baby food at all any more. Hoorah! We are all on table food and he loves it! This is Brady enjoying some tasty french toast.
