Halloween 2008

Halloween 2008 was another successful year. We spent the evening visiting friends and family and showing off Brady in his adorable Dragon costume. Here are a few pics from our evening.

Trick-or-treating at Grandma and Grandpas. I just love his costume from the back!

We saw our friends the Berge's tonight. Brady was especially excited to play with his bee buddy, Josiah. What a couple of cuties!

Our family photo.

Our happy dragon riding home in the car.

Pumpkin Carving

Last night was our annual pumpkin carving night and Brady got to join in on the fun. Each year Andy always carves some extravagant pumpkin. This year, Brady helped to clean it out. He wasn't too sure what to make of all the junk inside the pumpkin.

He did try to eat it...

Does everyone have a picture like this one from when they were little? I know I have one with my head stuck in a pumpkin too. Like mommy, like son I guess.

Here is the final product all lit up.

Little Model

Brady did a little modeling for me the other day. This was MY vest when I was little and my mom brought it to me a while ago. We decided to try it out seeing as these little puffy vest are all the rage again. Pretty cute huh?!

Here is Brady showing it off and telling me all about it!

Candids

I have been a bit pokey with my postings lately...Here are a few candids from the weekend. Brady played for 30 minutes with one of the ads out of the paper on Sunday morning. He was thrilled to just crinkle and rip it up!

We had a little coloring time on Sunday afternoon also. Brady loves to play with his Tadoodles, but gets very sad when we have to put them away.

Brady Heaven

What a fun family day we had today! Brady was in absolute heaven. We went to Schultz's Farm and Pumpkin Patch and to the Eau Claire Apple Orchard. It was a perfect, beautiful fall day and we had a great time!

This is Brady first laying eyes on the mass of pumpkins.

How can you not be excited when you see this!?!?

Here is Brady picking out the perfect pumpkin.

Choosing just the right one.

He was one excited boy when Daddy helped him pick it up.

Like Brady does with everything, he talked to all the pumpkins he saw. I think we heard him say "pumpkin" about 100 times while we were there!

So much to see...

What are you looking at? Gotta love that facial expression!

Even once we had all our pumpkin selected, Brady wanted more.

Here is our little punkin' riding with all the pumpkins.

My helpful husband loading up my straw bale for my fall decorations outside. Thanks, honey!

Brady was so excited that he got to ride in the back with all the pumpkins. Here he is showing them off to mommy and daddy.

This is our one and only orchard picture. We had one tired boy on our hands and playing with the apple bean bags was the only thing he wanted to do.

Brady, all worn out after a busy and fun afternoon.

Homecoming Parade

Last weekend was UWEC Homecoming. Brady and I went to the parade with Grandma and Grandpa Schwartzhoff and had a great time. Here is Brady loving it up with Grandpa.

Though it was a chilly morning, Brady was enthralled with the parade. His favorite...the fire trucks!

Every year the alumni association hands out football. This was the highlight of the day for Brady...getting a brand new ball. It did not leave his hands for the rest of the parade.

Fall is here...

Last week I cleaned out the flowers and busted out my fall things. Among them were a few things for outside. Brady LOVED the scarecrow. He giggles every time he sees it!

Brady also had to stop and smell mommy's pretty mums. Too bad they aren't real!

Cute Candids

Here are a couple cute candids from this past week. We have enjoyed lots of beautiful fall weather in the last week and have played outside often. Among the favorite are bubbles and his car. Check out his sweet ride! This is one of the few times that Brady has actually climbed in it. He usually just pushes his car from behind.

Another recent favorite, is sitting in his rocking chair and watching the baseball playoffs with Daddy.
