Father's Day

Sunday was Father's Day and we celebrated with all the dad's we love.  Steak dinner at my mom and dad's house with all our parents made it a special way to honor our dads.  Daddy and both grandpa's all got handmade trophies from the kids.

Happy Father's Day!

Christopher's Game

Last weekend we headed to the Dells to see Andy's cousin play in an All-Star High School basketball game.  The boys were so excited to get to see Chris play again.  As always, it's a big deal to get a picture with Chris after the game.
Now when Brady plays basket ball he is #32 on the red team and daddy has to be the blue team.  :)

Getting so big!

Andy snapped this picture of Anna when he went to get her up from nap time the other day.  Doesn't she look so big!  Stretching as she wakes up, skinned up knee...where is my baby girl?

Breakfast at Our Thrift Sale

Last week we had a thrift sale at our house.  I was concerned about how to keep the kiddos busy and out of things with the sale going on.  Andy put the kids picnic table in the garage for me and I found some masks we had left from Brady's dinosaur and Alex's Curious George birthday parties.  Put it together and you get one fun breakfast in the garage on opening morning!
During the two days we did lots of drawing and coloring, playing in the front yard/driveway, running around with grandma, and we made and decorated treasure boxes for each boy out of old cardboard boxes.  Challenging, fun, and I am oh so glad it is done!

Our Newest Cookie Monster

Girl's got a sweet tooth, what can I say?  She devours chocolate chip cookies!

Tball....finally!

This past week Brady had his first night of Tball!  He was SO excited, seeing as he has been asking to play tball for over a year.  He is doing an instructional class through Parks and Rec since he is technically not old enough to begin yet.  We are thankful they are letting him begin a bit early.
First it was a team meeting.
Next up, throwing practice.  Brady is on the left end in the blue hat and shorts.
 Then running the bases.
 Heading in to home!
Finally, batting practice.  He loves wearing a batting helmet.
Brady is one happy little boy.  As we were heading home he told me, "Mom, today is the best day EVER!"  I hope he always loves the game this much!

Dress time

My mom has been excited that she can get matching dresses for Anna and Emma.  I love this little denim ruffle dress that she got for the girls.  We recently got the girls both in them on the same day for a photo.  Tough to keep that little Anna still long enough to take one though!  Thanks, mom!

Naptime for Alex

So this is the site lately with Alex at naptime.  He snoozes away surrounded by Muppets.  When the covers are all pulled up, he sometimes look just like one of them!  Precious.

Emma's Baptism

A couple of weeks ago, our beautiful niece and Goddaughter Emma Lynn was baptized.  Following the service we headed to my parents to celebrate with brunch and cake.  My sister plopped Emma down on the floor to play and Anna got right in there with her.  Look at the cuties!
Little Ms. Emma wearing her cross necklace.
 Emma's cake.
Rubber duckie bathwater punch!  The ducks were a little tippy, but it was cute and SO tasty!
Look what I found!  A nuk...that's pink...and it doesn't belong to me...I think I'll take off running with it!
 Cuddles with daddy.
 Grandpa with his boys.
I tell you Anna LOVES shoes.  The fancier and sparklier the better.  She carries them around running and giggling!  Thanks for the new toy grandma!

 Love those big blue eyes!

A family picture for us - mark it in the books, the kiddos are all looking and smiling!

While we were taking pictures, Alex was rummaging through Grandma's desk drawer...look what he found!
We gave Emma these cute little lamb bookends for her bedroom and her cross necklace for a gift.
Oh yes, and her first doll.  Every little girl needs her own little baby!
Emma piggy bank from my parents was a cute hippo with purple polka-dots.  Too cute!
 My grandma's quilt for Emma
 Noah's ark - it's beautiful.

Go Hedgehogs!

The beginning on June marked the end of Brady's first season of soccer.  He LOVED playing in his games and is excited to continue with it next fall.  Here is Brady with two of his teammates.
Ready for some action on the field.
On last team photo at the end of their final game.  They played hard and had a ton of fun!  That's what it's all about!
