Tonight was a busy night. I decided that since I am due in 2 1/2 weeks, that it was time to get some reorganizing done. I was working to get all of Alex's stuff moved out of his room and into the boys' room. The boys had been playing and running around. While I was in the boys room putting some stuff away, I returned to babys' room to find both boys snuggled in the chair reading. It was too cute.

A Berge Visit
Our good friends the Berges came for a fun-filled weekend last week. As always, 7 kiddos in one house makes for lots of fun! Here are Brady and Josiah sporting their matching dino jammies. So cute!
Packer Gear
There was a lot of Packer gear worn around our house with the NFC Championship game and the Superbowl. Here are the boys sporting their jerseys that they got for Christmas.
I made this cake for Andy to take to work for a Superbowl potluck. Brady awoke one morning, came out to the kitchen and saw it sitting on the counter. He got all excited that we had a Packer cake. So what does every three year old do? He promptly shoved his finger down the middle of the cake and licked off the frosting announcing "Mmm, it's good!" I wasn't thrilled that there was a little finger hole in the middle of the cake and he was even less thrilled that it was leaving to go to work with daddy.

Kisses for Baby
I am officially 34 weeks today and we have been talking with the boys more and more about their baby sister's upcoming arrival. Brady has been carrying around his stuffed puppy this week pretending it's a baby. He rubs it's back, snuggles with it, and tucks it in with a blanket. Alex was giving baby kisses tonight. They can both be so sweet. We'll just hope the sweetness continues once she is here!
CAKE!
Andy's mom left us some frosted chocolate and cinnamon brownies the other night so we decided the boys could have a little treat after dinner. Alex was shouting "CAKE!" as soon as he saw them. He ate it so fast and was a huge crumbly mess by the time he was done. He was even trying to lick his hands to get the crumbs. Grandma Johnson's chocolate cinnamon brownies are just the best!
First trip to the dentist
Yesterday was a big day for Brady - he had his first trip to the dentist. I must say, he was rather worried about it, but overall did a great job. He wasn't too sure about having his teeth cleaned with that loud toothbrush (we were only able to do a few before he got too freaked out). He did think that Mr. Thirsty (the tube you spit into) was pretty funny though. Brady did a great job letting the dentist count his teeth with him and look in with his mirror. He even let the hygienist "paint" his teeth with fluoride. All in all a good visit. We came home with a new Cars toothbrush and a hand-held pinball game so Brady thought it was pretty great. Here's hoping for more cleaning next time.
Learning to Write
Each morning Brady has preschool he has to sign in with his name at the door. Grandpa Johnson has been helping him when he drops him off. Brady loves practicing all by himself when we are here at home. He is doing a great job! The d and y are still tricky for him but he has the rest...even the J since there are two Brady's in his class.
