So Serious

I thought this first picture was funny... Brady looks so serious! This past weekend was fun. We hung out with the Cedarblades a lot and Brady got to see his Aunt Jen and uncle Jerry. I've noticed that Brady also loves to watch Guitar Hero. I think it's all the colors on the black background. We don't want him to watch it and keep turning him away from it, but he's rolling himself around to get a look.

Future Guitar Hero?

I was holding Brady and we saw that he looked like he was holding a guitar. Becca grabbed a picture of it. I don't know - they look pretty close to the same thing to me!

Aunt Lisa comes to visit

Lisa made a suprise appearance this past weekend! She had an interview in the cities and was able to hang out with us for the entire weekend. It was great, because she got to have plenty of "Brady time". We had worship team this weekend at church, which meant Sat. night and Sun. morning was busy practicing and leading worship. We also had the first youth group of the fall. Lisa really helped out by watching Brady for us.

Daddy's 2 week babysitting adventure - day 4

Brady and I had a great day today. He slept in, I fed him and got him ready for the day, and then he sat quitely while I had lunch with Ellen. Then he was a champ as we ran errands all over town this afternoon. There weren't any "blow-ups" today like there have been the past 2 days, which is always nice! I've posted some more pictures, some of them are similar poses as earlier pictures, but they show how he has grown.

2 month Dr. appt.

I forgot to mention that Brady had his 2 month Dr. appt today. That's right - the first one with shots. He took it like a champ though. A nurse jabbed his thighs 3 times with needles and he didn't make as much of a fuss as I thought he would. Here's the latest info: weight is 12 lbs 4 oz, height is 24.5 inches. He's gained about 4.5 lbs and grown about 3 inches since his birth. Not a bad first 2 months...

Daddy babysits

I've been watching Brady for the past two days. I go to work on Friday, but then I have the next two weeks off to watch Brady. I'm really excited about it - it will be a great time for the two of us to chill out together. Maybe I'll even sneak him down to Milwaukee to catch a Brewer game or something. I'm sure Mom won't mind... ;-)

Playing with Aunt Jen

Aunt Jen has been watching Brady for a few days this week while Becca gets ready to start school next Tuesday. She was playing the "horsey" game and he really seemed to enjoy it! It was also his 8 week birthday yesterday - when these pictures were taken.

I've been lame and not blogged anything since Brady was born! Brady Andrew Johnson was born on July 4th at 11:02 pm - right after the fireworks ended. He was truely a grand finale! He was 7 pounds 13 oz and 21 1/2 inches long. Today he is 8 weeks old. I can't believe how much bigger he has gotten! I've decided to catch up on all of his pictures at once.
