I just love this picture. Brady and Anna hanging out together playing in the chair. They can play together so sweetly. The only thing that could make it any better is to paste Alex into this one so I have all three in one shot!

Halloween
The boys were so excited for Halloween this year. They couldn't wait to get out and trick-or-treat! We went all Star Wars this year since that is what the boys are really into.
Brady was Darth Vader
Alex was Luke Skywalker
and Anna was our baby Leia! Love the buns!
Grandpa got a good laugh out of the buns!
Grandma and Grandpa Schwartzhoff's was our first stop.
Then it was time to hit the street and get to the houses! The boys were ready to go and boys did we make it to a lot of places!
Those little legs were tired by the end of the night. Thank goodness we took the wagon, because it was a lifesaver for the way home.
After making the rounds, our final stop was at Grandma and Grandpa Johnson's. We had dinner with them and the boys got to check out all their loot! It was a fun night!
Pumpkin Carving 2012
Pumpkin carving got the addition of power tools this year. Andy bought a drill attachment to help gut the pumpkins and scrap out all the insides. Worked wonderfully. I must say, I think he just likes using his tools though.
What a stud, huh?
Brady couldn't wait to get started.
Anna thought she would give the pumpkin a taste while she watched.
Having fun.
Grandpa was there to help in the fun. Alex was very insistent that he do it all by himself though.
Watching is tough. Good thing grandma was there to help entertain this little lady.
Tasty!
When Brady was little he stuck his head in a pumpkin when we carved it. Now, he thinks they each need to do it every year.
Alex didn't want to touch it with his face and get yucky stuff on himself.
Anna got a peak too.
Just love this one.
We started carving before bedtime, but it got too late and was too hard for the kids to help. So bedtime it was. Then Andy and I sat down and carved.
Our finished products - R2D2
and a Clone Trooper
The kids got to see the final result the following morning.
Alex's Father Pumpkin Night
Alex's preschool does a fun Father Pumpkin Night each year in the fall. Andy and Alex went to carve pumpkins, have treats, and make Alex a mummy.
Alex was excited to carve his pumpkin.
Mmmm....oreos.
Can you tell Alex was excited?
Alex the mummy
It was a great Alex/Daddy night!
Playing in the Leaves
The boys were helpers for Andy with some raking this fall. I think they just knew that that meant playing in the leaves. Anna was not thrilled about being in the leaf pile. This was the best pic we could get. She wanted out - FAST!
The boys on the other hand, ran, jumped, rolled, and dove in the piles for a good part of the afternoon. So fun!
Our Silly Girl
There is never a dull moment with this little one running around. Anna is still in love with shoes. They are her favorite thing. Now instead of just playing with him, she likes to wear them around while she plays. I must say, this was her smartest choice yet of which ones to play in. She could actually walk quite a while without falling in my tennis shoes!
Every time she sees the camera it's "cheese!"
See what I mean?
She loves pushing buttons on the laptop and making things change on the screen. Fun for her, not so much for the computer...
It's All About the Legos
What little boy doesn't love Legos?! The craz has hit Brady head on this fall. He has gotten really good at following the instructions on his own to build thing. This was a set of two Lego City Cars and he put both of them together on his own.
He was very proud of himself and so were we!
Soggy End to the Season
Brady's fall soccer season came to a close last month and it was a soggy one! It poured during the whole game. Though the kids were soaked, they still had fun.
Attempting to stay dry on the side lines.
And a "B" for Brady cupcake to help celebrate a great season. The Red Peppers will continue playing together in the spring and Brady is already looking forward to it.
Early October Fun
I am finding myself busier than ever this fall and it's tough to keep up with everything! Blogging has been low on my priority list...As I sit here tonight with everyone in bed and Andy at a meeting, I decided tonight's the night to catch up. So we go - October!
Alex is really into Ironman these days and pitching baseballs. This little Ironman pose was too cute not to share.
At the beginning of October we put together a package for Andy's cousin Drew who is stationed overseas (and now coming home this week!). When I asked Brady what he though we should send he thought "fall stuff" would be good. We did some leaf paintings to put in Drew's package. They were super fun to make and Drew really enjoyed them too.
Each fall I have my kids make Creepy Cake Creatures at school and write about them. Needless to say, my kids love making them at home too. These were from our creepy cake night.
And yes, Alex just ate all the candy off the top.
