Kansas City Vacation Part 1

In mid-August, the Schwartzhoff family headed to Kansas City for a family vacation.  The kids were excellent travelers.  We were very thankful for our DVD player in the car.  The kids enjoyed some new movies for the trip.  Alex checking out our first feature film.
Anna was loving that her seat was turned around and that meant she could see too!
The big hit with Brady was his new lap desk.  He colored and drew throughout the trip.  GREAT purchase!
On our first day in Kansas City we headed to the zoo.  It was huge and so much fun!
The kids thought this giant polar bear was pretty neat.
 Me and gram
The Morgan family.  Love this picture!
Taking in the sites with grandma.
 My snuggle bug.
This is my favorite picture of Anna from the week.  She was such a happy girl riding and looking at the animals.
 This is a bird...that squawked...
This is Anna talking back to that noisy bird!
The boys found an egg to play in.
Feeding the sheep was a highlight for the boys.
Alex was too funny.  He was worried when he fed them, but after the sheep took the food he would giggle like crazy.  It was so fun!

 Ms. Emma
Grandma and grandpa took the kids on a carousel ride.  Brady was thrilled to ride a cheetah!
 Alex got an osterich.
Anna first carousel ride!  She loved it and giggle and squealed this whole time!
I'm not sure who had more fun, grandma and grandpa or Anna!
 Riding with great grandma.
The kids loved the elephants.  They were HUGE!
 Enjoying the sites with daddy.
For every good picture I get, Brady thinks he needs a silly one now too.  :)
 Grandma's little buddy.
A fun hut to play in out in Africa.
 My tired little peanut.
 Rhinos!
 Hippos!
Grandma and granpda got each of the kids a little animal as a treat.  Anna got this cute little elephant.
 Alex picked a tiger.
 Kisses!
Brady got his favorite, a cheetah!
Pretty good family photo I think.
We went to a bbq restaurant called Backfire that feature Orange Country Choppers.  The boys were pretty excited to "ride" the motorcycle.
 Looking concerned.
 Vacation just wears them out!

One night on our trip we went to a Royals game.  So fun since we used to go all the time when we lived there.  The boys wore our 1985 World Series tshirts to the game.  They were too cute!
 Enjoying game time with daddy.
 More silliness.
 Cheese!

 Kauffman Stadium
These are the fountains in the outfield.  They are my favorite part of the stadium.  So pretty.
